In what would be an unreal game between Miami, OH and UMass there was nearly 1200 yards of offense. Umass RB John had over 300 yards rushing and 6 TD's To recap Umass scored first in this game bu then surrendered the next 28 points. Down 28-7 Umass started to rally. The would get the score back to 28-21 with just 47 seconds remaining before half time. The Redhawks would play things perfectly scoring as the half expired and then taking the second half KO and methodically driving for another score. This stretched the lead back out to 42-21.UMass would not give up getting it back within 7 points a few times but couldnt get that last critical stop needed to give them a shot at tying the game.

If someone told you a team had roughly a 21 minute to 7 minute time of possession margin and had over 600 yards of offense, you would think it was a blowout. There were points in the game you thought it was going to be, but UMass played gritty and Miami's offense was porous in the RedHawks' 56-49 win over the Minutemen,
HB Keyon Mosely had 41 touches for 298 yards (265 rushing 33 receiving) and 5 touchdowns. UMass's HB had the game of the year carrying just 10 times for 323 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Tight end did great blocking the DE and sealing the LB/SS on the second level to spring the runs.
