my my my.. this one played closer than it turned out. OU scoring 10 quick 1st quarter points but then UMass answered in the second and had the ball, fresh off a big defensive play,within strikign distance of the Sooner endzone. Thosghts of leading 14-10 began to dance in coach mcx79's head as he dropped back to throw. He looked for he big TE Mazotti only to turn it over in the endzone. OU wasted no time scoring in about three plays to make the score 17-7. The next throw by UMass was a pick 6 and all the sudden what looked like UMass could go up 14-10, turned into OU leading 24-7. Umass would throw another INT and OU would again score making it 31-7. The minutemen would get a long FG with 1 second left in the first half to stop the bleeding at 31-10. OU controlled the second half eventually making it 41-10. Umass thre 5 INT's on the day and cant help but wonder.... what if we could just take care of the darn ball.
