Coach Mac’s first game as a head coach going against the baby oil using FAU owls (just rumors?)
This game might be a lot closer if it’s wasn’t for the 5 fumbles that the Bulls coughed up but let’s not focus on the negatives. Player of the game for the Bulls got to be Al-Jay Henderson with 16 Carrie’s and 185 yards on the ground with 2 tds… and 2 fumbles but hey let’s focus on the positives. On the other side of the ball we got the next Luke Kuechly, Shaun Dolac, with 10 total tackles but had the play of the game when he almost had a 92 yard pick six but got tackled at the 1. Keep an eye out on this guy. Now the player of the game for the owls is P diddys baby oil, that the owl players put on the Bulls balls to make them fumble 5 times!!!. But these are just rumors after all…
FAU played arguably one of their best games of the year against a pesky Buffalo team from the MAC. The Owls defense had their fingerprints all over this game forcing 8 turnovers and 5 fumbles. Set up by their defense QB Cam Fancher and CJ Campbell wasted no time settling into this one. Campbell led the charge boasting over 200 yards of total offense in another impressive day for the back. When it came to getting in the endzone QB Fancher dished 7 touchdowns on the day. On the receiving end of these TDs were five different receivers as the owls continue to hold on the leagues most balanced attacks. Between a strong run game and a very balanced passing attack you never know where they may strike next. We turn our sights to fully focus on upcoming AAC play.
